Overview

Day Trader Tycoon takes the parts of trading that are genuinely fun — the tension of a position, the dopamine of a good call, the compounding fantasy — and wraps them in a tycoon-style progression instead of a spreadsheet. Start with pocket change, read the market, and grind your way up the ladder from day-one novice to market mogul.

Design focus

• A core loop that rewards reading momentum and managing risk, not just tapping buy.
• Progression & goals that give each session a reason to come back — new tiers, bigger stakes, escalating volatility.
• Market mechanics tuned for game feel first: legible enough to learn in a minute, deep enough to chase.

Why it matters

It's the counterweight to the rest of my work — pure product intuition and game design rather than schemas and servers. Making numbers-go-up feel good is its own engineering problem, and it's one I enjoy.
